My experience with Central High School honestly went pretty well. I made wonderful friends and connections that I am sure will follow me for many years to come. Most of the teachers are pleasant and determined to push us students to strive for our best without seeming demanding or scary. They are genuinely good people I will most likely remember for the rest of my life. And there is so much diversity ranging from African Americans to Muslim, Asian, Filipino, Hispanic, you name it! My time at Central THE High School was pretty great. Of course, every school has its downfall. Not every teacher was amazing, and I'd rather not remember them; multiple fights could happen anywhere at any time of the day. The food was atrocious and could definitely be put in the top five things that should be revamped in the school, and so on and so forth. Overall, just like any school out there, it can have ups and downs, but as long as you find your own standing, you'll be right as rain!

My overall experience attending Central High School for the past four years has definitely been one to remember which includes both good times and bad times. Good times include pep rallies, games, parades, cheering, student council, and other fun activities. However, the bad times includes the noneffective metal detectors, only being able to enter and exit two doors, the administration over the senior class in particular this current school year who has not done little to nothing as far as senior activities, the violence, and more. But overall Central did provide a pretty good college readiness experience and helped me to break out of my shell and meet some really good people over the past four year no matter their ethnicity because they are also really big on diversity.

Central has really prepared me for things I should expect in college. The high workload and thesis involved during my senior year really put into perspective what I should anticipate. I definitely wish the sports sector received a little more funding although central is primarily an academic school, but it would allow more high academic kids to continue with their dreams to play at a competitive level as well.
