These were super yummy! I have two questions. I have never heard of the coffee spoon unit of measurement. I looked it up online, and some people said it was 2 Tbsp and Wikipedia said it was smaller than a teaspoon. It wasn't a big deal, since I have made an egg wash before. But I was curious. Second, I had a lot of trouble with the puff pastry. It didn't unroll well. It was very stiff and cracked. The squares were broken apart and I couldn't fold the corners over. That isn't the fault of the recipe tho. I did wonder if you have suggestions for store-bought puff pastry. I ended up making it more flatbread style. The pastry puffed up nicely and it was so yummy!

10/10 ! I used a slice of swiss cheese laid on top of the dough, and I used shredded mozz cheese, and I shredded a little bit of an apple wood smoked cheddar cheese into the mixture. so yummy!! My entire family of 5 inhaled these last night :)

This is a wonderful recipe. Easy to make too! I made it for my partner's potluck, we did a taste test and we wanted to eat them all. Literally made them again in the same week, they're that good!

Pretty delicious! Added mustard to the bechamel for some additional tang. I may have overfilled it slightly, but liked the filling to pastry ratio. Just didn't look quite as picturesque.

Delish! I made the puffs on a silpat so no sticking. The bechamel didn’t take so long to thicken. I added a fried egg on top too and my family loved it.

My sandwiches stuck to the pan. What a mess. It would be easier to grill the sandwiches. I saw butter in the recipe but it wasn't mentioned in the instructions. Where does it go? Inside the sandwich or on the outside somewhere so they don't stick? I won't be making this again.
